Commercial Bank of Kuwait Participates in the “Kuwait Flag on Every House” Campaign to Enhance the Spirit of Belonging to Kuwait

In keeping up with its commitment to social and national responsibility, the Bank supports and participates in the national Campaign “Kuwait Flag on Every House” launched by the Voluntary Work Center under the patronage of Her Excellency Sheikha/ Amthal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.  The Campaign aims at promoting the values of national belonging and underscoring the Kuwaiti flag as a symbol of national identity and unity of the Kuwaiti society.

Al-Tijari participated in this initiative by distributing Kuwaiti flags to the public in multiple locations. The Bank's team shared with the public such moments that reflect feelings of pride in the Kuwaiti identity amidst wide interaction from various segments of society.

The Corporate Communications Division Deputy General Manager Amani Al-Wara’a said that the Bank’s participation in this Campaign reflects the diligent efforts of the banking sector in general and Al-Tijari in particular, and the extent of the Bank’s cooperation with national institutions to support initiatives aimed at strengthening national unity. According to Amani Al Wara’a, the "Kuwait Flag on Every House" Campaign highlights the importance of the Kuwaiti flag as a symbol of sovereignty and national belonging, and encourages citizens to raise the flag on their houses in an expression of loyalty to Kuwait.

Ms. Amani Al-Wara’a concluded by stating that the Bank’s participation in this initiative comes in line with its endeavors to promote national unity, thus reflecting its role as an active partner in serving the community. She emphasized that participation in such events helps in  consolidating the spirit of solidarity and unity among members of the Kuwaiti society, as the Bank also sponsored “Al-Arfaj Flower” Campaign – the symbol of national resilience – in a supportive gesture for Kuwait’s front line forces, praying to God Almighty to protect Kuwait, its leadership and its people from all harm, and to perpetuate the blessing of security and safety.
