Al-Tijari Sponsors Schools Visits in Cooperation with Al-Farwaniya Governorate

Commercial Bank of Kuwait sponsored schools visits in Al-Farwaniya Governorate, led by His Excellency Al-Farwaniya Governor, Sheikh Uthbi Nasser Al-Uthbi Al-Sabah. This sponsorship comes as part of the Bank's ongoing cooperation with Kuwait's six governorates under the Bank’ comprehensive social program dedicated to supporting events organized by civil society institutions and driven by its belief in the importance of supporting educational events to enrich students' educational experience at the start of the new academic year. 

Following prior coordination between Al-Farwaniya Governorate and Al-Farwaniya Educational District, the event was attended by His Excellency Al-Farwaniya Governor, Sheikh Uthbi Nasser Al-Uthbi Al-Sabah, Amani Al-Wara’a, Deputy General Manager of the Corporate Communications Division and the Bank’s team. The Bank sponsored the back-to-school visits at Abdulaziz Qassem Hammadah Primary School for Boys and Subaikah Al-Khaled Primary School for Girls in the Ardiya area. The Bank aimed to celebrate the start of the new academic year with the students where it provided school supplies to students and encouraged them to study hard to excel and realize their goals.

On this occasion, HE Sheikh Uthbi Al-Sabah, commended Commercial Bank of Kuwait for its role, participation and sponsorship of the back-to-school events. He noted that the initiative motivates students at the beginning of the school year and reflects the Bank's commitment to supporting education.

For her part, Amani Al-Wara’a, said: "The Bank's participation and sponsorship of the back-to-school visits form part of the role it plays in supporting education and the community. This falls under the Bank's comprehensive program for sponsoring activities and events undertaken by Kuwait's governorates and civil society institutions."
